1. GO WAKEBOARDING – For anyone wanting to try wakeboarding, this is your chance! FREE
demonstrations, lessons and practices are offered on The Lake by trained experts using the innovative Sesitec System that gently and safely pulls riders across the water. Lifejackets, drysuits and wakeboards are provided in all sizes. Whether a novice or experienced rider, this will definitely get your adrenaline pumping.
2. PRO-RIDER WAKEBOARD SHOW – If you’re not quite ready to try wakeboarding, sit back and enjoy the flips, tricks and stunts of pro wakeboarding riders as they crank up the action on The Lake. It’s an awesome display of acrobatics as riders hit the rails and test their skills.
3. *NEW: ALYSON SCHAFER – Boating Provides What Every Child Needs to Succeed
A lifelong, multigenerational boater – Canadian Parenting Expert and cottager, Alyson Schafer
discusses her own childhood as well as raising her children at a boat-only access cottage and how
these experiences of boating have shaped her, the children and most importantly, how these
combined experiences actually provide the most important goals of all children’s development. In her
presentation, Alyson reveals how boating provides the 4 “Crucial A’s” every child needs to succeed!

PLUS: Confessions of Boater Mammas – Alyson Schafer, Kathy Buckworth and Maureen
Dennis discuss the hidden benefits and different parenting strategies of raising kids on the water.

4. KIDS BOATING ZONE – The love of boating can start at any age so start them young! The Kids

our mini-lake specially designed for kids only.

5. DUMA THE WAKEBOARDING DOG – Always a crowd pleaser, this adorable Jack Russell
Terrier is back to entertain audiences of all ages. Not only does she wakeboard on The Lake (a sight
to behold), Duma also drives her owner’s boat. You gotta see it to believe it! Duma will meet her fans

6. GO FISH! – Lake Ontario may be frozen, but there’s plenty of fish to catch at the Boat Show! Let
your little ones try their hand at catching live trout with Fish TV’s Leo and Ron, or practice fishing on a video simulator. Parents, you too can hone your fishing skills at the Great Canadian Fish Tank, where daily demos provide a fish-eye’s view of how fish react to different lures and techniques.
7. GO BOATING – The Lake is open to families to enjoy leisure boating activities such as
paddleboating, kayaking, canoeing and inflatable boat rides – all FREE and all supervised. Lifejackets are provided, so relax, have fun and enjoy a ride on The Lake with the kids.
8. ISLAND VILLAGE – Nestled among the colourful sailboats is an island oasis where parents and kids
can sample the tastes and sounds of the Caribbean. Palm trees, tiki huts and lounge chairs make for
the perfect setting and might just inspire you to talk to a representative about planning the next family vacation.
9. HENRY’S FISH HOUSE – Take a break from the show and refuel at Henry’s Fish House. If you
haven’t yet, you must try Georgian Bay’s famous fish & chips – it’s some of the best fish in the country!
