C&C 35 For Sale

The C&C Landfall 35, was produced from 1981 to 1985 and was manufactured at their Rhode Island plant. Advertised as the ‘Couples Cruiser’, the non-traditional layout boasts a large V-shaped settee with convertible dinette table ahead of the mast. Once the table was dropped in-place, it converted into a very large sleeping berth, with the ability to lay and look out the forward hatch to gaze at the stars.

The designed is summed up nicely by Kurtis Samples who states “While afloat one notices her pronounced bow, giving her the ability to take waves. Her grace-full sheer lines, slight up-swept transom, moderately wide beam and a tucked in coach house. In the eyes of a navel architect, this equates to sea keeping abilities.”

Well laid out, this 35 provides everything the cruising couple will need: Refrigeration and freezer, diesel engine, large aft berth and convertible dinette, plenty of galley space, and the large head to aft.  She could use a little TLC but is a lot of boat for the money!

Bayfield 29 For Sale

The Bayfield 29 has a full keel, cutter rig (two head sails), a shallow draft, and a built-in bowsprit (complete with stylized wooden trail boards on either side of its bow). It is an out-and-out cruising boat and regarded as capable of offshore passages.

A unique feature of the Bayfield 29 is that it has no V-berth, which, on some boats, can be cramped and difficult to get in and out of. Instead, the Bayfield 29 has a huge and comfortable head where the v-berth is normally found. It does, however, have two quarter berths, as well as two berths in main cabin, one of which converts into a double. The Bayfield 29′s cabin is wide open, but built-in wooden panels which slide up from the galley counter and the chart table (a nicely executed idea) can be used to divide the living space into two areas.

This Bayfield 29 has unique tall-mast option, with mast and all rigging for Bayfield 32′ as purchased at the Toronto Boat Show by the first owner.  Currently on her second owner, she is a well maintained late model Bayfield with a clean Yanmar diesel.  Regarded by some as having the perfect interior layout for a pocket cruiser.

Alberg 30 For Sale

“A legend in it’s own time”, that’s the description John Vigor made about the Alberg 30 in his book Twenty Small Sailboats to Take You Anywhere. And indeed the Alberg 30 has garnered a huge following with an active community of owners in North America. It’s an unmistakably traditional boat with long overhangs, a narrow beam, and a full cutaway keel-attached rudder, a design harkening back to the early 60s that’s forgiving to sail and seaworthy enough to cross oceans.

Berths accommodating a crew of four are divided into two areas, two in the v-berth, and two in the main saloon area. In between is the head. The galley is situated in the well vented space at the back of the saloon below the companionway where the cook can be a part of the social happenings outside in the cockpit when under anchor.

This Alberg 30 shows some signs of wear but is nowhere near the end of her days.  Some TLC will bring her back to the solid cruising legend she is.  Be a part of the legend!  Includes cradle for winter storage and a generous sail plan.  Upgrades about 10 years ago: new standing and running rigging including having all the lines led back into the cockpit for easy single handed sailing and three sets of reefing lines, new depth sounder, new head, all wiring replaced, Atomic 4 engine rebuilt, roller furling installed, new jib and genoa.

Bristol 41.1 For Sale

The Bristol 41.1 is a high performance cruiser with distinctive classical styling from the board of famous naval architect Ted Hood. Launched in early 1981 by Bristol Yachts, the boat was built by some of New England’s finest craftsmen. With that kind of pedigree there is no surprise that among cruisers she has excellent reputation as a blue water boat. One and a half times around the world – now it is your turn!

In total, 118 Bristol 41s were built in the 1980s and early 1990s.  She is a typical East Coast, heavy (26,500 lbs) “racing/cruiser”.   Calabar is a centre cockpit, centre-boarder, now converted to slab reefing. The centreboard  gets you into spots no other 41 footer could reach.

This vessel has been upgraded for serious offshore cruising and re-engined (BRAND NEW)  her in St. Lucia, with a 50HP Yanmar 4JH5E engine , driving a 19″ Maxprop. Roberts Steel Ketch 63 For Sale

Looking to travel the world? Here is an opportunity to own a boat that will take you anywhere.  She is capable of blue water cruising with the safety of a steel hull and the professional designs of Bruce Roberts. The vessel is described as a Bruce Roberts custom ketch rigged pilothouse center cockpit.  Insulated throughout, she is insured with an arctic rating.

Built off Bruce Roberts plans, this vessel is custom built with rolled mild steel for a curved chine and all stainless work is to industry standards. She is virtually new and has never been under sail.  She has only been motored between marina yards.

The hull was laid in 1997, but interior not completed until 2007.  Mechanically she is brand new with a Perkins 4236 with less than 10 hours.  The generator has less than 5 hours of running time.  The winches, radar, speedlog and all attending electronics are brand new, still in their boxes.  The interior may require a few finishing touches but is equiped with three new flat screen TVs.  The Hood in Mast Furling system, main, mizzen, and the two foresails are in excellent condition.  2010 survey is available.

Custom Steel Sailboat For Sale

It’s said the first twin-keel sailboat was Lord Riverdale’s 25-foot Bluebird of Thorne, built in 1924. She was plenty criticized but in 1939 Riverdale built a bigger Bluebird (50 feet) with an important refinement in that her keels were not parallel to the centerline, but canted outward instead. This was significant. It meant that the twin keels became more effective as the angle of heel increased just the opposite of the traditional single keel, which becomes
progressively less effective.

Following this early breakthrough, twin keels have evolved to the point that proponents presently claim a number of performance advantages over the modern fin keel.

This Pilothouse Cutter with Dual Helm boats all the features needed for extended and bluewater cruising.  She is built to be safe, fast and comfortable for cruising the Great Lakes or any ocean you choose to take her.  Her hull was laid in the early 1990′s,and was a work in progress until her completion in 2004.   She is in great shape above and below, and well outfitted with twin ballast keels, a proper crow’s nest, and modern rigging.
